Originally from South Africa, Robyn visited New Zealand in 2003, fell in love with the people and the scenery, and decided to make it her home. 

 

In South Africa Robyn Lamont had studied textile & surface design & then worked as a designer for Dano Textiles. Since moving to New Zealand Robyn has focused more on acrylic paintings, ink botanicals, coloured pencil illustrations & art for children’s rooms.  Her paintings & prints usually feature her stylized style – stripping an image or scene right down to a few outlines, adding in high contrast, bright bold colours, & a layer of ink detail over the top.
